Police in Gwinnett County are looking for a woman who apparently used another person's name to open up multiple lines of credit at stores in the Mall of Georgia area.

The Gwinnett County Police Department Electronic and Financial Crimes Unit said the female suspect opened multiple lines of credit at Belk, Von Maur, TJ Maxx and Target in Buford.  She also is believed to have made transactions at a Kohl’s Department Store on West Liddell Road and on the Comcast website using the name of a woman from Atlanta.

The victim found out about the illegal transactions when a collections company began calling her due to non-payment.

Investigators said the suspect stole more than $9,000 in the scheme.
