There's another chance in the Gainesville area this year for people who need dental care - but can't afford it - to get some basic help at no cost.
Gainesville Dental Group at 1026 Thompson Bridge Road is participating in the national effort called Dentists With a Heart. Patients will be served on a first-come, first served basis on Friday, April 14. Those in line at the office Friday morning will be given a number to determine who receives the free services.
Organizers said they will be working from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. providing the free care
Each patient can receive either a cleaning, a filling or an extraction. No proof of income is required to participate.
