CLEVELAND — The City of Cleveland has announced the top candidate for the position of city manager.
In a news release, the city identified the sole finalist as Tom O'Bryant, who currently is serving as director of community and economic development for White County, a position he has held since 2006.
A total of 29 applications were received for the position. The city council chose four people to interview. Following those interviews, O'Bryant was selected as the top candidate.
The formal appointment will be made at the city council’s July 10 meeting.
