Financial aid experts will be available Monday to assist college-bound Gainesville High School students and their families in completing and submitting student aid applications.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid event to be held in the Gainesville High School Media Center from 9:00-5:00.
According to a news release from the Gainesville City School System, filling out the FAFSA is the first critical step in applying for federal and state grants, loans and scholarships to help pay for college. "The FAFSA is available October 1, and it is important to complete the application as soon as possible to maximize potential financial assistance."
