Two Buford residents have been arrested in the latest massage parlor sting operation conducted by Hall County authorities.
On Wednesday, June 20, agents with the Hall County Sheriff's Office Multi Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) conducted an undercover operation at VIP Spa on John Morrow Parkway in Gainesville.
MANS Lt. Don Scalia said in a press release that officers had received several complaints about "keeping a place of prostitution, prostitution, masturbation for hire and massage without license" in reference to the location.
Scalia said Mi Young Jeon, 50, the manager of the facility, was charged with keeping a place of prostitution while Misook Kim, 46, was charged with keeping a place of prostitution, prostitution, masturbation for hire and massage without license.
Scalia said the investigation is ongoing.
Just over a month ago, an undercover sting resulted in the arrests of seven suspects at five different massage parlors in Hall County. Scalia said the arrests this week were not directly related to the sting conducted in May.
