The Dawson County Board of Commissioners begins a series of budget public hearings Monday.
This will mark the second year of open budget hearings, a policy adopted by BOC Chairman Billy Thurmond when he took office in 2017.
The hearings will be held at the Dawson County Government Center. They are scheduled to continue through Thursday.
