The Buford boys and girls tennis team advanced to the second round of the Class 5A tournament Wednesday at Buford City Park.
The Wolves (16-4) blanked Clarkston, 4-0.
No. 1 doubles team of Kyle Ryczek and Todd Goehmann grabbed the win, while Luke Davidson and Brady Todd won in singles.
The Wolves will play Riverwood at Buford City Park tomorrow. Match time is 4 p.m.
In girls action, the Lady Wolves knocked off Miller Grove, 4-0.
The doubles teams of Sydney Grothe and Izzy Brewer won as did Taylor Ryczek and Kennedy Deloach. Callie Perkins and Alex Mann picked up wins in singles action.
The Lady Wolves (14-9) will play Carrollton at home Monday. Match time is 3 p.m.
