Six-month resurfacing of busy Forsyth Co. road begins Monday

By AccessWDUN Staff

A six-month resurfacing project is scheduled to begin Monday on a busy Forsyth County road.

Work on Georgia Highway 20 between Samaritan Drive and Samples Road will take place nightly beginning at 7:00.

This project was awarded to C.W. Matthews Contracting, Co. Inc. in March 2019, and it will involve the repaving of just over six miles of State Route 20 including the area in downtown Cumming.

Crews will work Mondays through Sundays from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.  Both eastbound and westbound lanes will be resurfaced.
