South Georgia woman jailed on drug charges after Flowery Branch traffic stop

A woman from South Georgia remained in the Hall County Jail on Thursday afternoon following her arrest on drug offenses in Flowery Branch.

Carol Ann Haynes, 36, of Dublin was pulled over at 1:27 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30 when a Flowery Branch Police Department officer noticed her vehicle had no working taillights.

The officer reported Haynes admitted to him she was in possession of methamphetamine; she then consented to a search of her vehicle.

During the search, the officer found Haynes in possession of the following drugs:

  • Methamphetamine
  • Amphetamine
  • Marijuana
  • Clonazepam
  • Alprazolam
  • Zolpidem
  • Temazepam
  • Tramadol

The officer said the prescription drugs were not in their original containers. Haynes also was in possession of drug-related objects. 

Haynes faces a list of 13 different charges related to the drug arrest.
