Two high school students from Hall County have been named Washington Youth Tour delegates by Jackson EMC, and Habersham EMC has also announced its representatives.
Jack Thomas, a junior at Flowery Branch High School, and Erick Villanueva, a junior at East Hall High School, were chosen by Jackson EMC for the all-expense-paid leadership development experience sponsored by Georgia’s electric cooperatives and organized by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
Maggie Jackson of Tallulah Falls and Collin Kelly of Demorest will represent Habersham EMC at the 55th annual event. Both are juniors at Tallulah Falls School.
This year’s tour is scheduled June 18-25.
