Hall Co.: Deadline approaching for certain property-, tax-related obligations

With all the attention give the coronavirus, this may have slipped up on you:  the April 1 deadline for Hall County property owners to file for Homestead Exemption and a number of other property- and tax-related matters.

Issuing a reminder about the deadlines, county officials also emphasize that the Hall County Government Center is closed to the public.

Residents can conduct many forms of business, including Homestead Exemptions, online at hallcounty.org during this time. Email [email protected] to inquire about applying for any homestead or conservation use exemption. Inquiries regarding Business Personal Property, Boats, Personal Watercraft or Aircraft can be sent to [email protected].

Residents can still utilize the Tax Commissioner's drop box located outside the Government Center or regular mail at the following addresses:
