The Georgia High School Association's baseball championships were supposed to start last weekend. Golf and lacrosse were set to start this week.
Because of COVID-19, those along with the rest of the spring sports seasons have all been canceled, leaving high school seniors across the state with few memories of their final year of eligibility.
For that reason, AccessWDUN has put together a series, honoring Hall County's and Gainesville's senior spring sport athletes.
Bo Wilson and Coach Chad Pittman sit down with the athletic directors and select coaches and players to talk about their first thoughts when the season was canceled, high school memories, and what the community has done to honor Hall County and Gainesville seniors.
