Every spring sports athlete across the state is still trying to move past the cancellation of the high school season. Student-athletes were denied a chance at state titles in golf, baseball, soccer, track and field and tennis.
Those potential accomplishments all taken away because of COVID-19, leaving high school seniors across the state with few memories of their final year of eligibility.
For that reason, AccessWDUN has put together a series, honoring Hall County's and Gainesville's senior spring sport athletes.
Bo Wilson and Coach Chad Pittman sit down with the athletic directors and select coaches and players to talk about their first thoughts when the season was canceled, high school memories, and what the community has done to honor Hall County and Gainesville seniors.
