The Gwinnett County Police Department said Tavares Norah, one of the men suspected in the murder of a former Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office deputy earlier this year, has turned himself in at the Gwinnett County Jail.
For now, Norah has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assaults, two counts of kidnapping and possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony. The charges involve two separate armed robberies in Gwinnett County. Murder charges are pending, according to police.
After being on the run for a short time, the second suspect, Prince Robertson was taken into custody around 3 p.m. this afternoon when a citizen spotted him and called 911. Officers arrived to the scene in unincorporated Lawrenceville and arrested him without incident.

Two men who reportedly robbed an Auto Zone store in Dacula Monday night are the same men who killed a former sheriff's deputy in another armed hold-up earlier this year.
The Gwinnett County Police Department is actively search for Tavares Norah, 25, and Prince Robertson, 27.
Cpl. Michele Pihera said Norah and Robertson allegedly robbed the Auto Zone on Dacula Road around 9 p.m., crashing their vehicle about three miles away on La Maison Drive. Both men fled from the vehicle, according to Pihera, and both remained at large as of noon Tuesday, June 2.
Detectives were able to determine Norah and Robertson were the same suspects from a Jan. 8, 2020 armed robbery and murder at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Buford. In that incident, Felix Cosme, a former Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office deputy, was working at the store and came to the aid of a co-worker who was being held at gunpoint by one of the men. Cosme was shot and killed.
Tavares Norah is 6 feet tall and weighs 172 lbs.; Prince Robertson is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 153 lbs. He currently has a cornrow hairstyle.
Pihera said both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI is offering a reward of $15,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects. The FBI reward money is separate from the reward offered by Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta. Tipsters interested in the reward are encouraged to call the FBI at 770- 216-3000.
