Herschel Walker fires up supporters in Cleveland

By Dean Dyer WRWH Radio

The Herschel Walker Unite Georgia bus tour rolled into Cleveland Wednesday morning to a large crowd of supporters in his bid for one of Georgia's U.S. Senate seats.

Many attendees indicated they had already voted but wanted to hear what Walker, a Republican, had to say and show their support.

Walker claimed incumbent Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock had not stood up for Georgians during his time in office. Walker also said the police and the military have his full support, specifically referencing the use of pronouns in the military.

“I can tell you my pronoun is sick and tired of this,” Walker said.  "As I was looking at what [Warnock] was doing abolishing the police, abolishing the court system, trying to break down the family… in my definition that’s a Marxist."

Walker took time after the speech to shake hands with those attending and heard directly from them.

Accompanying Walker on this leg of the tour was former U.S. Army Commander Lt. Colonel Michael Steele, former spokesperson for the United States Department of State, Morgan Ortagus and South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.

Walker visited Dawsonville earlier in the week as part of his tour.
