FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Cherokee Bluff used balanced scoring to roll past East Forsyth 62-30 in the sub-region opener at home on Tuesday.
The Lady Bears (5-1, 1-0 Region 8-4A North) had seven in the scoring column, including leading scorer Bristol Kersh with 12 points. She also added five steals and two assists in the win.
Emma Reynolds had nine points and three blocks. Kaitlin Cook also chipped in nine points and recorded five steals and one play. Brooklyn Phillips added eight points and eight boards. Audrey Graham and Emery Jones had eight points each, and Claire Carlson finished with six points, five blocks, three steals, five assists and 10 boards.

Riley Black broke the career-rebound record last night in the win over Johnson at Lynn Cottrell Center.
The West Georgia commit scored a game-high 25 points and pulled eight rebounds. The eight rebounds pushed Black past Peyton Robertson on the career rebounding leaderboard. Black now has 804 rebounds in her four-year career.
Miranda Hernandez scored a career-high 13 points. Caroline Bull contributed 12 and Jamya Weaver had 10.
