Gainesville native awarded Fulbright Scholarship

Gainesville native William Morris has been awarded a Fulbright scholarship for studies in Romania and Bulgaria.
 
Morris was the 2013 Valedictorian at Gainesville High School and also the Star Student for the state of Georgia.
 
He then went on to graduate manga cum laude from Harvard University and then received a masters degree in migration studies from Oxford University.
 
The 28-Year-Old has been working for Conscience International, a Georgia-based non-governmental organization that provides relief and protection for victims of poverty, disasters and injustice.
 
He has been working in relief of war refugees in Romania and Ukraine for the past year. The Fulbright Scholarship  will allow Morris to study in Romania and Bulgaria for nine months, beginning in October of this year.
