Flowery Branch High School is making strides worldwide through its engineering programs.

The International Technology and Engineering Educator Association has recognized Flowery Branch High School as one of just 37 institutions worldwide for their Program Excellence Award in 2023.

The honor is given to technology and engineering classroom programs on the elementary, middle or high school levels and is presented in recognition of contributions to the profession and students.

In a press release from the ITEEA's sponsor Paxton/Patterson, company CEO Nate Schuessler says the annual award, “commemorates hard work and determination in building a program that serves students and make a difference into the future.”

Also in the release, Flowery Branch High School Engineering Teacher Harmon Tison says, “We are honored to be recognized as a program of excellence.  I especially want to thank Hall County CTAE director Rhonda Samples for her support and leadership.  Leaders like her make awards like this possible.”
