A portion of Cleveland Highway in Gainesville will experience intermittent closures for one to two weeks for construction work.
According to an UPDATED press release from the City of Gainesville's Department of Water Resources Monday evening, the temporary closures will take place between Clarks Bridge Road and Limestone Parkway.
The closures will last for one to two weeks, 24 hours per day.
Emergency, fire and police traffic are allowed through the roadway during the closure.
Detours through Clarks Bridge Road and Limestone Parkway will be marked.
Drivers are asked to drive carefully and watch for construction workers and equipment in the area.
