To honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior today (Monday), annual ceremonies in Gainesville are about to get underway.
Newtown Florist Club is set to hold their 2024 King Day Celebration with the King Day March at 12:00 Noon from the Peach State Bank. It will be followed at 1:30 p.m. by the annual program remembering the civil rights activist and Ebenezer Baptist Church pastor who was assassinated in 1968.
