Two Hiawassee residents were arrested by the Towns County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) on drug-related charges Friday.
In a Facebook post, Towns County officials reported that 38-year-old Ronald Shane Lowary and 49-year-old Christine Cardona were arrested.
That came after investigators received a call on Twin Mountain Road, reportedly finding “an amount” of field-tested methamphetamine.
Lowary was charged with felony possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.
Cardona was charged with possession and use of drug-related objects.
It is also being reported that Lowary is a current member of the Ghost Face Gangsters, a known violent criminal gang according to TCSO.
