GATLINBURG, Tenn. — Chestatee defeated Hickman County (Tenn.) 61-56 in the third place game of the Smoky Mountain Winter Classic on Saturday.
Payton Cable tied her season-high with 18 points and pulled down 8 rebounds to go with 4 steals to pace the Lady War Eagles (9-5).
Ali Jae Bull had 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals and Addison Boyd added 13 points 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Chestatee. Caroline Bull had 11 points. Lexie Moss added 5 points
Chestatee is off until taking on Dawson County at home on Friday as they get back into Region 6-3A play.

The Lady Indians moved into the fifth-place game of the Battle of the States tournament on Saturday.
Ava Thompson led Towns County with 22 points, including 7 3-pointers. Kaleigh Beaver added 18 points, Scotlyn Fain had 10 points and Ansleigh Hardin 7 points for the Lady Indians.
