Only two possible games are left on Friday's schedule after rains forced teams to move games to Thursday or to a later date to be determined.
Region 8-4A has one huge game still scheduled as Class 4A sixth-ranked North Hall (12-2, 1-1 Region 8-4A) plays host to No. 7 East Forsyth (11-4, 1-1 Region 8-4A) in the rubbermatch at Lynn Cottrell Field.
Buford is still set to play host to Mountain View in a big Region 8-7A showdown at Gerald McQuaig Field.
Gainesville's Region 8-6A matchup with North Forsyth (8-6, 2-1 Region 8-6A) in Coal Mountain has now been moved to Saturday with a 2 p.m. first pitch. The Red Elephants (4-7, 1-3 Region 8-6A) need a win to even their series with the Raiders.
