The City of Jefferson and the Jefferson Fire Department have received a donation of land for a new fire station from Pattillo Industrial Real Estate.
The fire department shared in a Facebook post that the station will be located on Jett Roberts Road, just south of Dry Pond Road on the north end of the city.
"This monumental contribution will revolutionize emergency response in the northeastern part of our city," the post said. "We are grateful to Pattillo Industrial Real Estate for their unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our community."
The station will lie on the east side of Jett Roberts Road between McClure Industrial Drive and Thomas Parkway.
