Search sadly ends for missing Norcross man

By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

The search for a missing Norcross man, last seen in early-September of this year, has ended on a tragic note for Gwinnett County investigators.

A press release from Gwinnett Police Monday reports that they have located the deceased body of 20-year old Jhon Sebastian Terencio-Quant. Detectives do not currently suspect any foul play, and his death appears to be drug-related. Next of kin have been notified, while the official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.

Police received an initial report of Terencio-Quant's disappearance from family members on September 11 after his roommate told the family he had left with an unknown man to a hotel back on September 4. Police added that Jhon left the temporary residence in Norcross and visited the Horizon Inn on 6187 Dawson Blvd with an unknown acquaintance on September 7, but family members lost track of him after Jhon was last last seen on foot in the area of Pleasantdale Road in Doraville.
