JEFFERSON, Ga. — Class 3A second-ranked Jefferson was pushed to the limit Tuesday night, but a stellar fourth-quarter defense kept the Lady Dragons atop the Region 8-3A standings.

Jefferson coach Greg Brown said his team did not let the rough start bother them.
