FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Cherokee Bluff boys tennis team shut out Winder-Barrow at home on Monday, 5-0.
The Bears only allowed one set win on the day, sweeping the singles action in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
James Rivenbark (No. 1), Boston Murphy (No. 2) and Nick Bellew (No. 3) all celebrated wins.
Meanwhile, in doubles action, Jett Hewette and Arya Chawla (No. 1) won 6-0, 6-1, and Neo Dang and Brady Woodward (No. 2) won 6-0, 6-0.
The North Hall boys and girls tennis teams knocked off Gainesville, 3-2, on Monday.
In the girl's action, No. 1 doubles Braely Jarrard and Neely Vining defeated Lillian Decook and Penn Williams to secure the 3-2 win.
Gainesville picked up two wins on the day when No. 1 single Kindal Cohen beat Ella Kate Canady, 6-1, 6-2, and No. 3 singles Mercy Rico beat Ellie Bangs, 6-0, 6-2.
North Hall's No. 2 singles, Maggie Perry, beat Kate Willis 6-4, 6-0. No. 2 doubles Amelia Moore and Addie Bangs defeated Eleanor Ritchie and Olivia Holt, 6-3, 6-3, to sweep the doubles action on the day.
On the boys side, North Hall's Jack Maddox (No. 1) lost to Zane Loggins 3-6, 4-6
No. 2 singles North Hall's Griffin Keener beat Saxon Stephens in three sets, 1-6, 6-3, 10-8. Gainesville's No. 3 singles Jacob Norton knocked off Cole Grover, 7-6, 6-2.
In doubles action, North Hall No. 1 doubles Brooks Dorsey and James Floyd defeated Rhett Griffin and Shayaan Cornett, 6-4,6-4, and No. 2 doubles Alex Crocker and Andrew Boyd beat Bridger Young and Junior Owusu 6-1, 6-0.
