Standard & Poor and Moody’s recently reaffirmed Forsyth County’s perfect bond rating.
Forsyth County officials said this achievement makes the county one of only four in Georgia to hold a AAA bond rating from all three agencies, following Fitch's affirmation of the perfect rating in 2024.
“Forsyth County’s perfect bond rating reflects our strong local economy, diverse tax base and responsible financial management,” Forsyth County Manager David McKee said. “Congratulations to our Chief Financial Officer Brian Clark, finance staff, and most importantly the citizens, on this outstanding achievement.”
Forsyth County has maintained the highest bond ratings, securing the lowest borrowing costs from all three major U.S. bond rating agencies.
