GAINESVILLE — A Hall County man was arrested Wednesday and charged with the sexual assault of a child five years ago.
Hall County Sheriff's investigators actually took the report on September 15 and they found enough evidence to arrest 55-year-old Havis Harvey on charges of child molestation and aggravated sexual battery.
Harvey's alleged victim was 8-years-old when the crime occurred in 2009-2010, according to authorities. They said he knew the girl.
Arrest reports indicated the incident took place in the 2000 block of Floyd Road.
