SUWANEE — A portion of Buford Highway in Suwanee was damaged by a water main break last month, and repair crews are now ready to replace the damaged section of the road.
Contractors for the Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources and the Georgia Department of Transportation will close both the north and southbound lanes of Buford Highway between Lawrenceville-Suwanee road and Westbrook Road starting at 9 p.m. Friday, October 16.
The road should reopen by 7 p.m. Saturday, October 17.
