CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (AP) A prisoner who authorities say overpowered a guard and escaped from a prison transport van in Georgia has been apprehended in Indiana.
Cartersville police Maj. Mark Camp said Wednesday that 42-year-old Sean Killion was recaptured near Ellettsville, Indiana.

Cartersville police Lt. Rich Hawley has said Killion shoved the guard and ran away after the van stopped outside a gas station on Feb. 4 in Cartersville, about 40 miles northwest of Atlanta.

Hawley said the female guard chased and caught up to Killion, but he broke away after a struggle.

Killion was being taken in the private prison transport van from Florida to Indiana to face federal drug charges when authorities say he escaped.

Camp told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Killion was arrested in Indiana by federal and state law officers.
