HCSO seeks help in missing persons cases

GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities are asking for the public's help in locating two individuals from the county who have recently been reported as missing.

According to a media release from Sheriff's Deputy Chad Mann, the missing individuals are being worked as two separate cases and are not connected in any way.

The first person being sought by Sheriff's Office Investigators is 16-year-old Chelsea Lynn Southers, who was last seen on July 29, 2014, leaving the home of a relative on foot. Southers had been in the custody of the Division of Family and Children Services and was placed in that home by officials.

Mann said that Southers, who is 5'6" and weighs roughly 160 pounds, had previously been seen in the east Hall/Lula area in the company of her siblings and mother. The blond-haired girl, who has brown eyes and multiple tattoos, has also been seen in the Murrayville area.

No other information about Southers was included in the release.

The second individual being sought by authorities is  36-year-old Michael Kelly Bozeman, a Gainesville resident who was last seen on January 10, 2015, leaving his Georgia Avenue home on foot. Mann said Bozeman was formerly a member of the Gainesville homeless community.

Bozeman is described as roughly 5'7" tall and weighing 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. No other relevant information regarding Bozeman was included in the release.
