Avenues of Life launches new non-profit

By AccessWDUN Staff

Avenues of Life Coaching and Counseling in Gainesville is announcing the launch of a new non-profit.

That non-profit is Live A Balanced Life, Inc. It is a new initiative by the counseling service designed to expand access to affordable coaching, counseling, and mental health resources for individuals and families in at-risk and underserved communities.

According to the counseling service, the new non-profit exists to “promote hope, healing, and unity through accessible mental health services, educational programs, and community outreach.”

As a part of the new effort, Avenues of Life is pledging to donate three percent of every client’s payment to the non-profit.

This means that every session booked supports the individual receiving care and helps provide resources to others in need.

“We’re here to break down barriers,” Elizabeth Evans, founder of both Avenues of Life and Live A Balanced Life, Inc., said. “By offering sliding scale scholarships, outreach programs, and practical tools, we’re creating a pathway to healing and transformation—one that’s accessible to all.”

The non-profits focus areas will be support for mental and behavioral health challenges, income-based services, workshops and seminars, resources for children and families including those with special needs, and community partnership to address unhealthy behaviors and promote long-term wellness.

Their core values are “identity, compassion, accessibility, integrity, empowerment, inclusivity, collaboration, hope, and faith.”

Their 2025 goals are to provide 200 hours of counseling to families in need, raise $30,000 for income-based scholarships, cover up to 70-percent of session costs for clients, and expand outreach efforts across Gainesville and surrounding communities.
