GAINESVILLE - A cheerleading coach has been arrested and charged with child molestation by Hall County authorities.

Hall County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Dep. Nicole Bailes said the case against 36-year-old Terrance Bohanna involves a 15-year-old cheer student. She said the alleged incident occurred in February, but Bohanna was arrested April 10. The arrest took place at 2341 Danbury Lane, Suite A, according to Bailes. She did not name the business, but the site is the location of Georgia Rebel Superstars.

Bailes said the investigation began after the teen told a parent; the parent then contacted authorities.

"The current allegation is...touching of this 15-year-old in the genatalia," said Bailes.

Bailes said other charges are possible in connection with the incident, and she said there may be other cases, as well.

"There are other charges pending on this particular victim and there's also information that's been provided that Mr. Bohanna is also being investigated in two additional counties for this same type incident," said Bailes.

Bohanna was booked into the Hall County Jail, but he has since posted a $10,000 bond.
