LULA - Two candidates have qualified to run for the Lula City Council seat left vacant earlier this year by the death of councilwoman and mayor pro-tem Vicky Chambers.
A spokeswoman at Lula City Hall said Thursday the two qualifiers for the special election are Marvin Moore and Walter Harris.
The election is set for June 16.
Chambers died on January 22, 12 days after her vehicle was struck head-on by a man charged with drunk driving.
