CUMMING — A woman's body has been recovered from Lake Lanier at Sawnee Campground, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez says deputies responded to a call around 6 p.m. Thursday and found the body of 50-year-old Charlotte Ann Church of Lawrenceville. A passerby saw the body and called authoritiez.
The deputy said investigators found no signs of foul play. The body has been taken to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
