AUBURN — The Georgia State Patrol has not yet released the name of the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Barrow County just before 7 a.m. Friday.
Troopers said the motorcycle was traveling westbound on State Route 8 at Mt. Moriah Road near downtown Auburn when the driver lost control in a curve, left the roadway and hit a utility pole.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
