A Royston man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Franklin County Monday night.
Georgia State Patrol officials said troopers responded just before 7:00 p.m. to the crash on Bond Bridge Road near Riverbend Circle.
An investigation reportedly revealed that a white 1999 Ford Explorer was traveling south on Bond Bridge Road when it traveled off the west shoulder of the roadway.It then struck a culvert and a tree and turned over on its roof.
The driver, Gary Woody, age 70, was pronounced dead at the scene.
