OAKWOOD — The West Hall boys soccer team blanked Lakeview Academy 3-0 on Tuesday in Oakwood.
Sergio Hernandez notched the only goal of the first half, assisted by Emanuel Ramirez, to give the Spartans (4-2-1) the lead at the interval.
Jacob Hernandez and Rudolpfo Aleman added second half strikes for West Hall. Cesar Villa and Alex Mejia each provided assists.
The Spartans face a key Region 7-AAA showdown at 5:30 p.m. on March 22 against Dawson County in Oakwood.
Lakeview goalkeeper Ben Eades had 17 saves.
The Lions (4-4-1) will look to bounce back against Towns County on March 22 in Gainesville.
