Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate Jim Barksdale will speak to Hall County Democrats at their June meeting.
The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. on Monday June 13. The session begins with a social and meet and greet in the new location for the party headquarters at 996 Athens Street in Gainesville.
Barksdale, a Buckhead investment counselor, won the Democratic Primary on May 24. He challenges incumbent Republican Johnny Isakson and Libertarian Candidate Allen Buckley on November 8.
After the regular business meeting, party leaders say a voter registration/canvassing forum and discussion will take place.
