A house on Harmony Grove Church Road in Auburn was destroyed by fire early Monday morning, according to Barrow County EMS Captain Scott Dakin.
Fire crews were called to the scene just after 2:30 a.m., Dakin said.
“Firefighters were dispatched and found a home fully involved in fire,” Dakin said.
He said no one was living in the home at the time of the fire and the home was being renovated. The home was destroyed as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Investigation Team and the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.
