A Stone Mountain man who hiked up Yonah Mountain north of Cleveland Sunday night to photograph the sunset became lost and had to call 9-1-1.
The man entered the mountain trailhead at approximately 9:30 p.m., for his picture-taking adventure, said White County Public Safety spokeswoman Ana Newberry.
Newberry said it became dark soon afterward and he got "turned around" and lost. The man noticed he had low battery power on his phone so he called 9-1-1.
White County Fire and Rescue personnel located the man and escorted him out to the parking lot.
No injuries were reported and personnel left the mountain around 11:30 p.m.
