The Georgia Mountain Food Bank's annual Empty Bowl Lunch is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
The fundraiser to be held September 25 at First Baptist Church on Green Street starting at 11:00 will include several meal options donated by corporate sponsors, a silent auction and a presentation regarding the impact that GMFB is making across North Georgia.
Guests will also get to take home a hand-painted bowl as a thank you, and as a reminder of the agency's goal to eliminate empty bowls and empty stomachs. These beautiful and unique bowls are made available through community donations. The money raised at the Empty Bowl Lunch supports our programs throughout the year.
