Credit card machines installed at some Lanier parks for boat launch fees

By AccessWDUN Staff

Credit card machines for boat launch fees have been installed at four parks on Lake Lanier operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

They are Balus Creek, East Bank, Vann’s Tavern, and Tidwell parks.

According to a posting on the Corps' Lake Lanier Facebook page, there will be a $5.00 boat launching fee or you may purchase a Corps Annual Pass for $40 at the machines.

If you are purchasing an Annual Pass the posting says the machine receipt serves as a temporary pass that needs to be exchanged within seven days at the USACE Project Office (1050 Buford Dam Road, Buford.

If you have any questions, or to find out the status of your pass, call 770-945-9531.
