Hall County School District announces changes to Central Office staff

As the 2018-2019 school year comes to a close, the Hall County School District has announced some changes to its Central Office.

Gordon Higgins, Director of Athletics and Community Relations, will retire June 30, 2019, according to a news release from Superintendent Will Schofield.

"Stan Lewis, principal of Johnson High School, will retain his principal position and assume these roles," Schofield said. "Additionally, Jonathan Edwards will become the Associate Principal of Johnson High School."

Schofield also said Brad Brown, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources will retire May 31, 2019. Schofield, Kevin Bales, Aaron Turpin and David Moody will assume the human resources duties on an interim basis.

Rhonda Samples will become the Executive Director of LCCA/HCSD CTAE Programs.

"We are implementing a plan to surround her with the support she will need to accomplish these roles with excellence," Schofield said.

Jeff Jenkins will remain the Chief Operating Officer of LCCA. David Moody will become the full time Executive Director of Leadership Development for the Hall County School District.
