A Gainesville man has been arrested on child sexual exploitation chrges following an undercover investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office and the GBI.
Sheriff's department spokesman Derreck Booth says Jesus Gilberto Luna, 22, was taken into custody late Wednesday afternoon in the 2800 block of Browns Bridge Road.
"He is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of furnishing obscene material to a child," Booth said. "According to the initial investigation, Luna traveled to the location for the purpose of having sexual activity with a person he believed to be a child under the age of 16."
He added that Luna had used "an electronic device" to arrange the meeting and to send graphic sexual messages and a photo of his genitals to the individual.
