A boating accident on Lake Lanier late Friday afternoon resulted in minor injuries to one person.
Mark McKinnon, a spokesman for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, says the accident involved a cabin cruiser and a personal watercraft. McKinnon says the PWC struck the starboard side of the other vessel, leaving the PWC operator with minor injuries.
He says the accident happed near Van Pugh Park.
Zach Brackett, a spokesman for Hall County Fire Services, says it happened about 5:00 p.m.
