District 2 Public Health officials will conduct Saturday COVID-19 testing at a different location for Hall County beginning Sept. 19.
Monday and Thursday testing will continue to at 2500 Allen Creek Drive, but Saturday testing will now occur at the District 2 Public Health Office at 1280 Athens Street in Gainesville.
This change is due to the resumption of recreation activities at Allen Creek Soccer Complex, which has brought increased traffic to the facility. Public health officials decided that relocating the Saturday testing site will make testing a safer experience for the community.
The Hall County testing sites will now operate under the following hours:
- Monday and Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2500 Allen Creek Drive, Gainesville
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1280 Athens Street, Gainesville
