Community webinar on COVID fourth wave set for Thursday

Local healthcare and public education officials have planned a community webinar for Thursday to update the Gainesville-Hall County community on the latest information on COVID-19. 

Entitled  "The Fourth Wave is Here: What You Need to Know About COVID-19 Now," the webinar is free, but registration for the online event is required. 

Residents will be able to get the latest updates on COVID-19 cases, variants and vaccines in the community and will learn how to protect themselves and others as the virus has begun to surge in the last month. 

The webinar begins at noon on Thursday, Aug. 5. Follow this link to register.
