The East Hall Viking Marching Band is planning to host its first Viking Band Motorcycle & Jeep rally and ride on Saturday.
The event is intended as a fundraiser to raise money for the band program.
According to a press release, registration will open at 8 a.m. on the day of the event at East Hall High School. The cost to enter is $35 per motorcycle and $50 per Jeep.
Riders and drivers will leave from East Hall High School and travel together to Hiawassee. The trip will be led by members of the East Hall Band Parent Association.
Prizes will be awarded during the event, including a cash prize and 50/50 raffle. Participants will also have an opportunity to sponsor individual students.
